On October 6, 2022, the European Provisur Innovation Center (PIC) opened its doors in Plailly, France, just next door to our Lutetia factory. The opening ceremony took place in the presence of Brian Perkins and members of the Provisur Executive team. The center offers Provisur EMEA customers a new demo center in the region.
Comprehensive testing in a true production environment
In the new state-of-the-art PIC, customers can evaluate industrial food processing equipment from AM2C, Beehive, Cashin, Formax, Hoegger, Lutetia and Weiler. Development and testing can be conducted in a range of application areas – defrosting, tumbling, pressing, slicing, grinding & mixing, forming, separating – and in a true production environment at controlled room temperatures.
Furthermore, the new PIC offers an optimal environment for factory acceptance tests for Provisur customers. It provides excellent facilities to present innovations from the Provisur portfolio as well as internal and external equipment and application training. The Plailly site has a particular focus on the development and production of clean-label products, as well as the booming segment of alternative proteins will also play an important role.
Several important European media publications, partners and key European based customers were invited to the Grand Opening with over 55 guests attended the event.
